I may have caused today's earthquake...
Early
this afternoon, I purchased a bag of chocolate cookies at the farmers
market. I have been eying them for two years (but they are freaking expensive...) In a moment of chocoholic
weakness, I spent the $9.00 on 6 cookies. At approximatley 1:50 this
afternoon I took a bite of the yummy cookie, and then, it happened.
BTW
the name of these cookies... you guessed it, Earthquake cookies. I'm
sorry for the commotion I caused, but just be forewarned, I'm going to
purchase another bag next week. They are amazing!
Re: I may have caused today's earthquake...
I bought them at the Sienna Farm's stand at the Copley Farmers Market. They are from Sofra bakery.
I really need to go to Sofra for breakfast/brunch one of these days; I live maybe 10 mins. from there. I keep meaning to go, but I hate seeing the line every time I drive by there on weekends. I've been wanting to take a random day off to do nothing, maybe I should make that part of my plans for the day.
Man, you really DO live around the corner from me, don't you? Heh. (I'm about 1/2 mile from Waverly.)
I've heard good things about Sofra. We keep saying we're going to take the bus over when we need to do a grocery run on the weekend, but every time I go by there, the line is practically out the door. I think you're right - a weekday is probably best.
Yep, I really do! Maybe you and I should have a GTG there
Ack, I love baklava! And that sounds like an insanely delicious take on it.
to bad you all have real jobs... we could have a nestie gtg next week for breakfast or lunch... Alas... you have to work. : (
I might be working from home on Wednesday and hopefully will be working from home once a week soon....
I'd love to meet you both (i.e., Ginger & 5000Candles, as well as anyone else who'd want to trek over!)!
