Has anyone seen any good movies lately?
I feel like I see ads for movies coming out and then never hear about them again. Aside from Harry Potter, I don't know what other "big" movies were out this summer. Maybe I'm just drawing a blank.
I want to see One Day but I don't even know what it's about. DH and I went to Planet of the Apes last week and it was awesome.
Anyone else?

Oh, and I want to see My Idiot Brother when it comes out.
I know I'm usually the only one who feels this way, but I can't stand Zooy Deschanel. But I love Paul Rudd so I want to see it anyway.

I don't like her either. I'm not a big fan of the manic pixie girl type she plays. And I thought 500 Days of Summer sucked. But I do want to see MIB, because I love Paul Rudd, and I enjoy Elizabeth Banks.
I want to see The Help. I kind of want to see One Day, but the book annoyed me at the end, so I'll probably wait for it to come out on DVD.
Overall, the summer movie season sucked unless you were into action movies. (Thor, Captain America, HP, Cowboys vs Aliens, etc etc)
I haven't seen any movies lately though.

I never know what's in theaters (aside from the big action flicks that are heavily promoted) so I'm no help. I love stupid action movies, so the summer is actually one of the only times we go to the theater anymore. I can't wait for the next installment of The Fast and The Furious series to come out

Me either! I'm so glad to know there are others out there. You get the strangest looks when you say you hated that show.
My husband thinks SJP looks like a thumb. When we go to NYC, he's always on the lookout for Matthew Broderick, so he can yell, "thumbs up!"
I don't like her either, but I loved SATC.
