List your earthquake damage here.
When I got home, I saw that one of the shelves in my kitchen had come partially out of the wall and cookbooks were all over the floor. One of the marble bookends holding them up also crashed to the ground, which must have been really loud.
My desk drawers were both wide open, and a couple framed pictures had fallen off my dresser.
My one cat was totally FREAKED when I got home at 3:30. He was all puffy and tiptoeing around the house. The other cat appeared to not care. He is really lazy and probably slept through it.
Re: List your earthquake damage here.
Lol!! I love when cats are puffy.
We had zero damage. Nothing out of place. But as DH said, how would we even tell, our house is such a mess

The older cat was a little freaked when I got home about 2 hours later... but he freaks about everything. The kitten was unfazed.
Upstairs in our bedroom, one single book and bookend had fallen off a shelf.
When it occurred, I was in a restaurant with a wine store inside... I thought the wine bottles were goners but, miraculously, not a single bottle fell!
I saw your FB post.....that really sucks!
our reed diffuser in the laundry room feel over.
and there is some suspicion that a small crack in our foundation extended a little bit, but DH isn't sure. Otherwise, all's good.
I was home at the time and thought I had doubled my allergy pills at first. I was all kinds of woozy for about an hour afterwards. I didn't notice any physical damage at all but DH noticed that the cable box had fallen off the tv upstairs. That's the only thing out of place.
Jade was acting weird and crying about half an hour before the earthquake hit. Then when it happened she looked around and started barking and tried to climb onto my (slowly disappearing) lap like she does during thunderstorms.
Then an hour afterwards she looked like this:
Sound asleep!
My BFF gave me a Yankee candle tealight lamp, which I had at work. It fell off the bookshelf and broke.
At home books were on the edges of some shelves, as were some knicknacks, but nothing broken. The dogs were their usual happy selves to see us/me.

Our house had no damage. Didn't look like anything had been touched. My parents had some broken pictures in the floor (some of my wedding pics). Frames were broken essentially. The dog's food bowl was turned upside down and his food everywhere. All the pictures on the wall were crooked.
Poor puppy was hiding underneath a pillow when Mom got home. He is flighty anyway (rescue dog from abused home). Poor thing
