Wedding Photographers
My little sister go engaged last week!
The wedding will be here in Omaha and she is starting to look at potential photographers...I gave her links to Jessi and Chrisitne McGuigan as I knew they did weddings but wasn;t sure if any other nestie photogrpahers did weddings or who any nestie would recommend...my wedding was back home so I have no clue as to good wedding photographers in Omaha!

My friend is also getting married, and I sent her a list with Jennie, Heidi, Christine, Jessi, and then some other non-nestie photogs.

Thanks for thinking of me, peeps! I tried my hand at a wedding or two last year (and have a few yet this year - eeeek!) and decided it's just not my thing, so I'm not continuing.
However, I have been, and will continue to, second-shooting for Christine McGuigan. If I did MY wedding all over again, I'd hire her (or Anna Lynch McClary), hands down. Money should be no object, IMO, when hiring a wedding photographer, but the reality is: it is and I do know that Christine is very affordable in the world of wedding photogs and she totally rocks.

Thanks for thinking of me, too! I, like cracky, am not cut out currently for wedding photography but I HIGHLY recommend Anna Lynch McClary. After much research, she's shooting my sister's wedding this fall and has been fantastic to work with so far. I'm so excited that we found her.

I had Anthony Gaines Photography. He is on fb and has a website. He mainly does models and is word of mouth so not sure how many wedding pics are posted but I LOVE our photos. They are not your typical poses which is what I wanted.
I also love J Sallenbach's. They have done a few friends of mine. I'm sure any of the nestie photogs are great, but not sure who all does weddings.

I recommend Jessi and her DH! They did my sisters wedding in which I was in and were GREAT to work with! Pictures were AMAZING! They have a FB page in which they post glimpses into the wedding and other sessions they do. You can look them up on there!

His prices are good and so are his pictures but his ethics SUCK!!!
For wedding I'd also recommend Lani with allurephotographic.com She has done most of my pics and I love them!! She is super sweet!!
I'm standing up for Jeff --- because I know him personally. He, unfortunately, had some really tough stuff happen to him recently which affected his business big time. He really is a good guy and a great photographer. It's too bad that some things happened the way they did. In that industry --- it's easy to get overwhelmed and some of the other photographers on here will agree with me. FWIW -- Iconic doesn't exist anymore anyways. I look forward to him getting back up on his feet and doing what he loves to do and is good at.

Currently were are just taking on a few weddings in 2012, were not planning to do more than one wedding a month in the fall. (We miss football season ((and fall in general)) ha!) June and July are totally booked up!
