I forgot that I was doing this and that yesterday was Monday. Pregnancy brain? Anyways, how are you ladies doing?

Doing good here. Still comfortable and sleeping well. Still only getting up once a night to pee. I have decided that I am ready to be done with work though. Just all the stress of budgets, my regular work, and training everyone who is going to cover for me while I am out is really taking a toll on me.

Had my 36 week check up yesterday. Cody's heartbeat is great. He's (fundal height) measuring right on track for 36 weeks. He kept moving away from the Doppler so she had to put her hand against his back so he couldn't get away. It was funny. He really doesn't like the Doppler. He did that at our anatomy scan too. She did the Group B Strep test. That was no big deal. She also did my first internal - that hurt but I was glad it only lasted a minute at the most. She didn't mention anything about dilation or the baby's station/position, but she did say that I was 50% effaced and it feels like things will progress nicely over the next few weeks.

I mentioned the pain and weakness in my hands and she saw the swelling of my feet and put me on a diet of no salt until the end of the pregnancy. I sometimes want to cry about it because now I really want fries.

I go back Monday morning for my next check-up. Can't believe I have less than 30 days till his due date. I'm not sure I'm ready yet.

I feel like I'm in the whining phase of my pregnancy. My back hurts all the time. The heartburn is getting worse and worse by the day. I'm exhausted and moody. But really over all I'm very healthy. My boss asked today if my doc had talked about bedrest at all, and I told him that it is very unlikely since I have low bp and no bleeding etc.

We did clear out the nursery which is awesome. Now we just have to paint the trim and wash the carpets, oh and actually have the furniture delivered. This has been the longest 8-10 weeks ever!

I almost hate to say this, because I don't want to jinx it, but I think my m/s might be easing up. I didn't puke at all yesterday and so far so good today.

Sleep has been practically non-existant. I don't know if it has to do with the pregnancy, or because Drew isn't here. If it's pregnancy related and this bad now, I hate to see what it's going to be like as I get further along. Do any of you have a pregnancy pillow to recommend?

I think I'm going to call and make an appointment with my 2nd choice OB today. I don't know why, but this step makes me so nervous.

I went through a phase for a few days where I just couldn't sleep near the end of 1st trimester. Hopefully it will pass soon and Drew being home will help.

I didn't get a pregnancy pillow I just use a regular body pillow.

B6 is definitely helping with the nausea, but I've been stupid tired. Of course between that and the hormones I feel like I'm failing Riley even though I can see she's still totally happy. We also still leave the house every day, I have to keep reminding myself of these things. Had my first appoint today, just the RN visit. I loved that she recommended Adventures in Tandem Nursing to me. Not that I plan on tandem nursing, but she said I'd probably still enjoy it and there's stuff on nursing while pregnant. I'm spending a couple days at my parents' this week and we're spending the long weekend with the ILs so we'll see how well we hide it! My first real appoint isn't until the 13th and I'll only be 10 1/2 weeks so I'm really hoping they'll be able to hear the h/b. Last time I saw them at 12 weeks on the dot and they found it easily, so we'll see.

Doing fine this week. I am actually not as sore or tired as I was the last few weeks which is nice. I have my growth scan tomorrow so I am looking forward to seeing how big Pumpkin is measuring. I have my next OB appointment on Thursday and I have to mention a funky color discharge that I had but I think is no big deal.

I have my first shower this weekend here in Atlanta and I am super excited. Next weekend we are going back to TN (for the last time) and I have my shower there. Then I will be booking it trying to get everything squared away with all the stuff we get and what we need to still buy.

That's what I am doing now. I got almost all of his clothes washed last night. Tonight I will start on the sheets, blankets, towels, etc. I hope by Sunday I can have everything put away and get DH to go with me to use our completion coupons.

I've been great this week. We have our anatomy scan today and I can't wait to see our little guy/girl! We're staying team green, unless LO is spread eagle and makes it obvious. The only thing I have to complain about is the weakness/lightheadedness. It hits me pretty hard when I'm at work and generally comes so quickly that I literally have to rop what I'm doing and sit down before I pass out. It's a horrible feeling. I plan to talk to my doctor today about it and hopefully I can get to the cause and fix it.
