He Ladies I'm back!
First a huge!!!! (yes necessary) Congrats to Rebaann! I'm so excited for you and have my fingers crossed extra tight today!
Today I'm going to that stupid conference, but I'm hoping that the other district calls me while I'm there so I can leave. I called yesterday for an update and was told a decision has yet to be made.
Door County was fun! We did a lot of wine tasting, and playing on the lake. Myles did not like the lake that much because it was a little cool, but he loved the pool.

It's good to have you back Mo! I was looking at pictures from your trip on FB last night - I can't believe how big Myles is already!
I'm getting my allergen patches removed today... but I'm still not allowed showering until Friday (sob!). I'm getting around the totally gross, greasy hair issue by going to get a hair cut for the first time in a year. I'm contemplating doing something drastic, so stayed tuned for pictures...
A friend is coming over for dinner tonight and I'm finally going to get around to doing the boubon preserved peaches. I may have eaten too many out of the last box to finish the recipe.
Oh! And I made dills last night. Fingers crossed they turn out okay!

This morning we are packing up and leaving around noon for our short anniversary trip in Niagara Falls. We'll be there Wed - Fri and we leave Saturday to stay with a friend in St Catherines. Sunday morning I have my 10 mile chocolate run...yum

Lasnight was uneventful. I took the boys for a long walk in their wagon, then we played in our front room for a while, before they passed out at 7.
Tonight I am doing the usual, playtime, bathtime, maybe a walk, and then crashing for the night!

Reba--you were my first thought when I woke up this morning...fingers crossed and tons of multiplying beta vibes headed your way.
Today is a big day for me...we are getting a new mattress! (Yes, this is what I am most excited about for the week...finally I will sleep without pain!) I am also hoping this new mattress brings us new TTC luck as I should O this week. Fingers crossed! Also, I am going out for lunch with my mom for an early birthday lunch (my birthday is Friday). I am headed out in a few minutes to run, hopefully 10-11 miles. We didn't go to the baseball game last night and may go tonight instead. We'll see--I like having Ed home for vacation, but it also is giving even less structure to my days...

Nothing much exciting going on here. Fairly busy day at work, and then I have to finish planning our weekend tonight. We're heading over to France wine and chateau country on Friday, and I still haven't figured out where we are going.

Morning, everyone. Nothing much going on over here--after yesterday's excitement, it was a pretty quiet evening. I stuck it out until 4:30 when we were told to leave the building immediately (no emergency, we just follow the feds' lead--they go, we go), then headed over to my husband's work. We then decided to try the Metro--it was slow, but we got on a train right away and made it home a little earlier than usual. Light dinner then sleep. So no garlic fries and beer for me, but I'll get there soon enough.
Tonight we're doing laundry to prep for our trip. It looks like we might've reached our natural disaster quota for the week since Irene's not swinging toward FL right now, though I guess it could affect our flight on Monday? We'll see.

I can also relate to the DH and structure issues.
DH has been off work for 7 days now thank goodness he goes back tomorrow. I feel like I have wasted 7 days and got nothing done. That is not a good thing when I have a 1st birthday party I need to be working on!
Last night I did do some cleaning and went thru some clothes a friend of mine gave me for Preston. I need to work won Preston's banner tonight for his bday party! I am planning for an easy supper (spaghetti) and thankfully not to much clean up.

Today is a normal work day for me. Last night I signed Jim and I up for a day trip to Atlantic City in September. He's been dying to go, so when this came along, we said what the heck. It was $50 a piece for the RT bus ride, snacks and drinks on the bus and a $25 credit to Taj Mahal. We figured we'd play a little slots and walk along the ocean.

MO, I love the pictures and cannot believe how big Myles is getting.
Last night we went out to dinner for my brother's birthday. A couple of his friends had just returned home from their honeymoon in St. Lucia. Talking to them really made me want to go back. By the time we got home it was fairly late, so I did a few things around the house and then read and went to bed. Today should be a quiet day. I'm hoping to do a little bit of housework, get in a good workout and do some more reading.

Yesterday was kinda blah, but I am feeling much better today. I have a bunch of work to catch up on, so that will hopefully make the day go by quickly. Aside from that, I've got nothing planned.

Last night, the nursery furniture was delivered. We still haven't painted or gotten the new carpet. We are so slow! I am just so excited to see the finished product if we ever get there that is.
Today, just another normal work day, though I may be giving my notice today. I'm going to be a SAHM and it is terrifying!

Today has been an eventful day so far. I got up early to make lunches for Dh and I. We have been trying to eat in more and be healthy. Our bank accounts and waistlines are really showing a difference. I also prepped a chicken for my rotisserie. In doing all that and getting ready I forgot to eat breakfast. I am starving. So early lunch for me probably, and I'm going running after work with DH. It's his Day 2 on C25k and then I'll go of and run a bit.

Last night was ok, but could have been better. I had planned on going for a walk last night when I got home, however one of the painters clogged my toilet and I ended up spending forever trying to get it unclogged. YUCK!! After that I called it a day and put on some sweats and lounged on the couch.
Today I have a busy day at work and then I'm going to a yoga class one of my coworkers is teaching. The painters should also be finishing up today and I can't wait to see everything finished especially my new red door!

This time tomorrow I will be on a plane headed to Vegas. We're using this to celebrate DH's birthday and a late anniversary trip. DH and I made reservations at the nicest restaurant and will be getting all fancied up for it!

Cloth Diaper World
Good afternoon everyone! I had a busy morning. First I slept in yay! ha. I had an appointment with a chiropodist first and my suspicions were confirmed, I've got bunions starting. So, I need to check on my coverage, but I'll be getting orthotics. Fun? Time for more supportive shoes, and apparently no more flip flops.
Then I was off to my Dr's office for an appointment with the nurse practitioner. No one came running into the room to tell me I wasn't KU anymore, so I guess that's good. She saw nothing of concern so basically I'm very low risk right now. She did send me to blood work, which was a bit of an ordeal. The lady started w/ my left arm (as per my request) and the needle thing kept leaking blood, so she had to stop and start over on my other arm. Awesome. So, now I'm hiding in a sweater so no one asks me questions! I go back again in 4 weeks and won't have my first U/S until 18 weeks!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Busy morning, but I'm finally sitting down today and eating something. I totally forgot to take my meds this morning and eat breakfast. I chose to sleep as late as I could to make it to the docs on time with Jackson. He's gained 2 pounds since he was born. Thankfully he's a good eater and doesn't fight us on it. Last night he was such a fussy baby, though. We couldn't feed him or change him enough. It was super frustrating, and I was so tired. It's tough to be gentle and nice when you're grouchy from lack of sleep.
Tonight we're meeting up with some friends for Mexican at our favorite place and then I am hoping to get to bed early, letting DH take some of the late night shift.
