basically she could not wear any more makeup than she wears every day.
I agree that you should still look like you on your wedding day but maybe slightly more special. That is why you get your hair professionally done and get a makeup artist to do your makeup (not everyone, but it is a trend) Most celebrities have low makeup days (at the mall or on a talk show) and high makeup days (Oscars, other red carpet events)

Ewww. This totally grosses me out. I wear BARELY any makeup (if any) most days. If I fall asleep without washing my face, I feel so gross when I wake up. I can't imagine having that full face of heavy makeup on when I wake up. I bet her eyelashes are all nasty and stuck together from the ton of mascara.
A few years ago, they did a ski trip together. She wore no makeup the entire episode. She is a pretty girl. She's not as naturally pretty (IMO) as Jessica Simpson was during Newlyweds (I always thought she looked so pretty au natural) but Kim isn't anything to balk at, IMO.
And she does wear too much makeup. I find that she does a lot of contouring, especially of her nose.
Its bad that on her wedding day she looked like herself?
Who cares if she wears a lot of makeup, I've seen photos of her without it and she does have a lot of natural beauty. She obviously has her "look" that works for her.
I think she just means that on such a special occasion most people would want to go the extra step with a more glamorous/sophisticated/whatever type look. Kim looked like she does when she goes to the grocery store. To each their own.
I agree. Khloe looked her best ever on her wedding day, and still looked like herself. Kim, not so much IMO.
