I'm so excited for the finale tonight and reunion next week. (I feel like a huge dork admitting that
Anyway, I hope mike/leroy and laurel/cara maria win.
It should be a good final!
Who are you rooting for?

Re: Rivals!
Last night I thought it was Wednesday and got all excited for the show only to realize it was Tuesday. I'm excited too and I'm also rooting for Mike and Leroy and Laurel and Cara Maria.
On a side note, Laurel's hair is not looking too good in the preview for the reunion.
Me too!
I want Mike and Leroy to win. I could care less about the girls.

So super excited!! I hope mike/leroy and paula/ev win. I just want Paula to win so that she doesn't have to come back for another one!
And Laurel's hair is HORRIBLE! She was on an aftershow a few weeks ago and looked like a lion!
Yes!!! I just came on to post about that. Stupid MTV.
I am happy that Tyler won. I am actually happy that Paula won as well. She was such a b!tch this season but it would have been really sad to see her lose for the 8th time.
Ugh! I was just going to post this too. That was irritating.
I am so happy that Johnny and Tyler won. I would have preferred that Laurel and Cara Maria won, though. They worked really well together and I do not like Paula and Evelyn.
This actually didn't bother me. At the point they showed this, Jenn & Mandi were DQed so you knew Ev & Paula were guaranteed 1st or 2nd... either would be a cause to celebrate.
I thought the task of them running up that mountain after no sleep was extremely dangerous. Finding the key and running (could have been pushing if it was super close) was just crazy to have them do. Maybe it was editing to only show scenes where it looked super steep.
Also, the eating/puking scenes were insane.

I didn't notice the Army commercial, but we had it on the DVR and started watching a little later so we were able to fast forward through the commercials. I'm glad or I would have been upset to have it spoiled for me.
I wasn't suprised that Mandi and Jen sucked in the final. I know Jen was sick, but even if she wasn't, I don't think she would have done well enough to win. I was surprised that they actually finished the camp site challenge because they were so frustrated I thought they would just quit right then.
I agree about the final being insane. I was a little bummed that Mike and Leroy didn't attempt to climb the mountain, but I imagine after everything the day before and not sleeping it would have been reckless for them to try it and risk getting really hurt. Especially if they already felt it wasn't safe for them to do so.
Overall, I wasn't happy with the winners but I'm glad Wes didn't win. Also, I hope this means Paula won't be doing any more challenges now that she finally won one.
Well it wasn't the outcome I was hoping for, but that was an insane final and I don't blame Mike and Leroy for not finishing. Jenn is pathetic and I hope people realize this and not give her a free ride next time.
I really could have done without all the puking, ugghh!
I just watched it.
This was one of the most disgusting episodes I've ever seen. If I'd known that 50% of the episode was going to be puking then I would have skipped to the end. I understand it happens, but I think they could/should have edited some of it out.
I was rooting for Mike and LeRoy, but everyone has a limit so it's understandable that they quit before heading up the mountain. I also admire that LeRoy was respectful and understanding. They came a long way.
Aside from Mike and LeRoy, I didn't really care who won. It was nice to see Wes and Kenny lose though.
It was an interesting challenge to watch, but I agree it was too dangerous... The mountain, sleep deprivation, eating a ton of food at once, and vomiting to further dehydrate them sounds like it could be bad. I know they have emergency medical staff nearby, but you never know what can happen. When Wes was talking about being dehydrated I kept wondering if they're even allowed water along the way.
Also, does anyone else think that $100,000 is not that much for a first place prize to endure all of this? That's only $50,000 per person if you win. Don't get me wrong...that's a lot of extra money, but taking off work (if they even have jobs, LOL) for 1-2 months and putting your body through torture is a lot for only a chance at $50,000. I wonder how much they get paid for the show itself, appearances, etc.
I spotted several of them wearing what looked like CamelBak water packs on their back. I just assumed they all had one on. I just assumed Wes' usual beverage of choice throughout any day is alcohol of some sort, and he was already slightly dehydrated before the challenge started.
Putting the pieces of the pet rock in his socks was maybe the dumbest thing I've ever seen him do.
As for the second paragraph, I think the being on tv and being "famous" balances out what they might consider a small paycheck. The Johnny Bananas lawsuit is a good example.
I didn't even notice the water packs, but I guess that's what I get for watching on my small computer screen.
I just kept thinking about how they showed them vomiting a million times and I didn't see a single person drink water other than with their "dinner."
And wait...what lawsuit? Now I have to google this.
And vomiting makes fantastic tv, I guess. lol.
I just watched the final episode and was disgusted by all the vomiting!
I cannot believe that Wes put the rocks down his socks... what was he thinking?! Also, I can't believe that even at the end, Kenny and Wes just couldn't get along. All the other teams worked out their differences and worked well together. The minute that Kenny didn't win, he was calling Wes a loser. What a great partner.
I hope Mikey and Leroy come back for a future challenge!
