Is the skirt black and the top white? If so I think it would look great to wear the pencil skirt, white top and then add these shoes for a pop of color/something different.
In my opinion, I think both the houndstooth dress and shoes would be too much and a little "matchy."
I do think that either the dress or the skirt/top would be fine to wear.
Crown, I own those shoes and they're the most comfortable shoes ever! I wore them to my sister's bachelorette party last October and danced all night in them, walked a few blocks in Atlantic City and my feet felt great. They're from Naughty Monkey.
I don't have a blouse to go with the skirt and I wasn't successful in finding a blouse last night I'm thinking I may buy the dress and wear a pair of red pumps.

I definitely will...I'm just working under a tight timeline...we just got the invite Monday. I figure I can wear the skirt and blouse combo w/ those shoes to the office.

Most of it wouldn't work for me, and the dress that I like most would get utterly destroyed with me in it. I like that they did a men's line too.

The first time I saw Mad Men I hated it. I didn't watch again for 3 months...then I watched all 52 episodes in 3 days. Sad but true. I'm now re-watching. SgtM, I think I'm about to epi 7 this time around. The "basket of kisses" belle jolie campaign one. I'm not a peggy fan, but I do love this episode where she kicks major booty.
Really? I really like her (except for the way she's acting in chimerical recording in the first season finale).
Ya, she bothers me. I like her in the later seasons though. I couldn't stand Pete for the first whole season either, but later on he gets better.
