Sewing ladies...has anyone made an organizer for cables? (USB etc)
I have been using a ziplock bag for all my electronics cables. (USB/chargers for camera, nook, phones, etc) It makes it easier for when we travel if I can just throw that into my bag!
But...it would be so nice to have them in something pretty that would hold the cables in individual spots so I don't have to dig through a messy bag.
I was thinking I would make something crayon roll/knitting needle organizer style. I'm just not sure what the best way to secure the cables would be. Any ideas?
Has anyone seen tutes for this? I tried googling with no luck.

I agree with the velcro recommendation. And the stuff that's intended for cables would work really well I think.
Alternately, you could use elastic and just lay it across the part of the organizer and stitch it every inch or whatever you decide to space your pockets.
You could make mesh pockets w/ a bit of elastic around the opening like this organizer:

Or, you could label all of your cords, wrap them up neatly, and put them all in a zipped cosmetic bag. They wouldn't get tangled.
