Re: ABC names new Bachelor
I love the bach but I probably won't watch for the first time ever. I never once thought he was cute and he is about as interesting as a blank wall. I think their ratings will tank, 2 bad seasons in a row.
Cool! I am also surprised since he doesn't seem that type but ABC has enough time to mold him into what they want.
Maybe he'll at least cut his hair.
I'll watch, since, well, I have nothing better to do but I'm disappointed.
I wish they'd stop using former bachelor/bachelorettes and just start fresh.
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
this makes sense actually. I think viewers automatically become more interested when they feel like they know the bachelor or bachelorette, which happens from seeing them over another season. except when it is an undesirable person...
i wonder how often the new season will feature the voice ben uses to talk to his dog. ick.
It's perfect for ABC to recycle someone from the show. They can test out how the person comes across on TV during the first season. Meanwhile the viewers become invested in the person so they will likely watch the following season. The new bachelor/ette also comes in with a good backstory. I just wish they would have gone with Ames, but I think he's too awkward for them.
