Speaking of local news/weather
What station do you watch? I haven't found one that floats my boat in the mornings, but I'm just looking for quick headlines, weather for the day, and *maybe* traffic. I know I can't avoid the sports around here, but I refuse to convert to a NE fan yet

Re: Speaking of local news/weather
I watch WHDH (7) and NECN (6 for me on Comcast). I used to really like the NECN morning show but they switched it around recently so now I just flip to it every once in awhile. NECN does traffic and weather every 10 minutes which is great (I believe on the 2s). WHDH does it every 15 minutes (on the 0, 15, 30, and 45). In the evenings I will put on NECN until Jim Braude comes on, then I switch to WHDH through the NBC nightly news. NECN has a sports show on at 11 so I will watch WHDH if I want 11pm news.
This sounds like I watch a lot of local news, but I swear I just put it on in the background while I am doing other stuff
I don't normally watch the news, but if I do usually 7 (and I usually go to their website to find breaking news). My mom watches 5 (would be my second option, Ch4 last).
For weather I usually just go to weather.com. Traffic I use Google Maps and/or SmarTraveler (which is often the map news stations show on their websites; you can call 511 for this too).
