Your favorite party foods
I know this is a repeat of about 100 posts but what easy party recipes do you like? We're having a party Saturday and I want to try some new recipes, I make the same stuff every single time.
Re: Your favorite party foods
Hurricane Party no doubt right??
I like Crack Dip, Tortilla Rollups, Hummus & Veggies and PDub's 1981 Bacon Wrapped Cracker Holiday Throwback App.
Right now my current favs are Blue Cheese & Bacon crisps where you cut red potatoes really thin and then layer blue cheese and turkey bacon in between 3 layers and then bake. If you don't like blue cheese, you could do chedder.
I also like turkey chili....and I'm not sure of the types of food you're looking to serve but umm, I could eat it probably every day.
I also like buying the pizza dough that pillsbury makes and rolling it out in a rectangle and then doing a white pizza with garlic oil as the sauce and adding things like fresh grated cheese and basil on top or brocolli and tomato and freshly grated cheese. Then I'll cut it in to small-ish square so people can grab them.
I have tons of salsa and tapenade recipes too through Pampered Chef. If you want, I can email them to you.
You know it! We were going to go to the beach this weekend so we're all just partying here instead, as if we're still at the beach so mudslides, daiquiris, hurricane shots, etc.
Mmmm tortilla roll ups!
I have crab balls on my list! Do you have a good recipe for those?
I haven't tried these yet, but they could be an alternative to crack dip:

Taquitos could be good
I'm on a real corn flour kick so I'd do arepas as well with various things to stuff in them - beans, shredded chicken, etc.
Or how about your favorite?
Bang Bang Shrimp
Yum!
Yes!! Making this and those buffalo bites, those look freaking amazing!! Thank you!
Honestly, no...I kinda just do a little of this and a little of that. I generally always use 1 egg, some panko, parsley, old bay, 1/2 tbsp of dijon, a dash of worcheshire (or however you spell it!) and a dash of lemon juice but then the rest is sort of whatever else I feel like throwing in, if anything. I mix my ingredients all together before adding the crab and then I taste it to see if I like the flavor. If I do, crab gets tossed in; if not, I add the kitchen sink until I get a flavor I like. I tend to go heavy on the old bay...in my opinion, you can never have enough.
I've used the recipe on the side of the old bay tin before and it's pretty good...but I generally don't like following recipes when it comes to crab cake, crab balls, and crab dip.
I pretty much love you for posting this. I don't have a Bonefish close but LOVE those things.
Remind me again why we don't live closer? Because all those drinks are right up my alley.
Seriously..I may be rowing up to E-burg!!! This post is making me hungry and thirsty
