Today is my last day of babysitting. I'm taking the kids to a pottery painting studio, the city park and out to get ice cream. I was flattered, yesterday one of the kids (11 year old boy) told me I was "way too cool and fun to be a grown up!"

I think today's going to be a lazy day, other than dealing with my ID. When H and I went to get new ones in May when he commissioned, the guy didn't do the lamination right and now it's completely falling off. I need to find out if I need H with me to fix it, or if that's something I can handle without him.

Today I have to catch up on all the stuff I didn't do yesterday. I started digging up my vegetable patch yesterday only to discover that under two inches of dirt, it was paved with bricks. It took a lot longer than I expected and I got nothing else done all day.
I also want to go to the base library and see if they have a copy of the sleep-training book I'm looking for. DS waking up every 90 minutes and taking 30 minutes to fall back asleep is getting really old now.
I can't believe it's Thursday already. This month's flown by.
Today will be pretty busy - meeting with new students all day. H is in town until Sunday, so I hope to take off early and spend some time with him and JJ. I'll probably keep an eye on the hurricane, too...I've got a lot of family on the East Coast that'll probably be affected. I should probably go pick up my mail today, too...
You should be fine to take care of it without him there, but you could always call first to double check.
I'm up way too early because H forgot to shut his snooze alarm off before getting in the shower, so I woke up to his alarm going off like crazy and couldn't go back to bed. So now I'll probably be ready for a nap right around the time my work day starts, which is what usually happens. H has duty tonight and I have a soccer game, and that's about it. Big plans over here.
I took the day off work. We are flying out for the wedding of the century tonight. I didnt really need to take the day off, but by the time I realized that, I just didnt care enough to change it back. So I am relaxing in jammies and will take a nice day to myself (DH is working)

Good morning! My friend N walks in the AMs with one of the mom's from her daycare and invited me to go. I was going to start tomorrow because today is my late start day at work but I was up so I went walking with her at 6 and got home about 6:45. It was nice to get out in the quiet and cool morning.
I have some things to get done before I go to work at 9:30. Tonight I need to run to the store and get stuff for dinner tomorrow because we are having N and S and their daughter over for dinner.
Walking was such a great start to the day!
Finally got a hold of someone in the office and he has to come with or we need to fill out the ID form. I was hoping they could just relaminate the card, but the lady said they can't. Poop.
I'm grabbing a quick breakfast then heading into town for a dentist appointment (oh yay.) At least DH is on nights and is taking LO for me, so I get some me time, even if it to see the dentist.
When I get home from that I need to start organizing the stuff we need for our trip next week and get my list of last minute errands to run before we leave, maybe even run some of those errands today.
That's a pain. You already have the ID, you should be able to go take care of it yourself. Hopefully your office has better hours than ours here, which is only open from like 0700 to 1445, and H is just about always on the ship during that time.

I worked a full day today, dinner with the hubs, helping my friend pack and then baking her cake tonight.
Oh and I got up and went for a run this morning and am really proud of myself lol.
