yay for my friday! woo! 
how were your days yesterday? my mommy met me at my house with some lunch..we ate, then took a nap on the couch like fatties!! afterward, my dad came by to pick her up (my mom had borrowed my car for the day while her car was being serviced) and we watched the ultrasound video i got. it was the first/only time my dad has seen anything about the baby other than a single picture at 7 wks which doesn't show much!
half day today, then flying into hurricane irene!

Have fun in SC, Jenn! Make sure you go check out Bob Ellis on King St. and go to 82 Queen. However, if you sit in the outside courtyard at 82 Queen, bring lots of bug spray.
Irene's already started making her presence known in NY. I woke up this morning and it's pouring.
I take off this afternoon for NYC though, so I'm super excited! I wasn't prepared for a hurricane and I didn't pack any closed toed shoes, so I had to run to Target last night for some rain boots. Thankfully I always travel with a packable light rain jacket though.
Oh and I went to see The Help yesterday afternoon. Normally, I hate it when they make a movie from a book, but this time I loved it. I was bawling during the whole movie and they did such a good job with it. They casted Minny and Mae Mobley so well. I really recommend seeing the movie.
Hope you are safe flying in to the hurricane, Jenn.
I have a dentist appointment this morning to fix my broken tooth and then a couple of hours of work this afternoon. Maybe I'll pick up my alterations at Nordstrom after work. Exciting, huh?

Last night was uneventful. I plan to go get my hair cut today, nothing crazy, it just needs something.. hopefully the lady will listen when i say don't take ANY off the bottom! Let's see how this goes.
I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday! I could really use a weekend. Saturday is a wedding so it will be a super busy day.

Last night I just dragged my big ol pregnant butt to the gym. It was so hard to go yesterday, but like always I felt better afterward. As soon as I was showered I collapsed on the couch and went up to bed, ready to do it all over again today. I have to work Saturday this week so two more days for me.

Had kind of a rough night last night - pregnancy hormone induced cry-fest. That was fun. LOL DH didn't know what to do with me. So I went to bed early, had a good cry, and then got back up because I couldn't sleep without DH in bed with me.
Let's just say I hope today goes a bit better than yesterday.

Have a safe flight! My sister is freaking out cause she was planning on moving on Sunday and now Irene's shifted to hit Jersey (she lives in Massachusetts).
We were going to try a new restaurant last night but it was too full up until 9:30 so we ate at the Counter instead. XD Fried pickle chips are
. The other night I went to a cocktail academy at Tavern Law and it was a lot of fun. We learned all about gin and how to mix gin drinks. Mmm.
My pants are getting a little tight so starting next week I'm going back on a more moderated diet. :P (No more fried pickle chips for a while.
)
