I'm planning a trip to the zoo with my boys (1 and 3 years old) on Friday. The weather looks perfect.
I'll be going around 9:30 or 10. We usually walk around, eat lunch, and then walk around some more before heading home for them to fall asleep in the car.

OHHHH, this is sooo tempting.. I have been wanting to get to the Zoo with M this summer and have yet to do it.. Should I take the day off ?!?!?! Let me see what I can do and maybe we can meet up with you?
I don't have any kids - but going to the zoo on Friday sounds like a blast - I love the zoo - too bad I can't take off work.

I have to pass, I'm leaving for Cincy that day w/the kids to spend a few days w/DH before he gets his next assignment somewhere else. Maybe next time, I still want to go before the dinosaurs go away on Labor Day.
I thought I was going to be able to go tomorrow, but it turns out that I actually made plans to go to a friend's house in the morning. I completely forgot about until she sent me a message on FB last night. I swear pregnancy brain is getting the best of me. I'm really sorry it won't work out for tomorrow, but have fun with the kids!!
When Kristine gets back from Cinci, we'll plan something else!
Sorry! I am not going to be able to make it, but not by choice.. I was planning on taking the day off and going but now Miss Morgan decided to get a double ear infection and I am going to take tomorrow off to hang out with her at home... I felt bad leaving her this AM with my mom...
Aww, sorry I missed this Rawilder! We went and had a lot of fun. I bring food for us all, especially if it's just me and the kids and dh isn't with us. It's too hard to push the stroller and carry food too!
My 3 year old loves picking a tree to sit under and sit on a blanket to eat his lunch. That's usually what we do.
