help! what to do today
My sister is in town. She was born and raised here, but has lived in the middle of nowhere for most of her adult life. Anyway, she is with me for today before she goes to visit the rest of my family.
I am looking for something:
-not too far of a drive from Federal Way
-not too $ to get into
-reasonable for my 6 year old
-northwesty or touristy kind of
Any suggestions?

Re: help! what to do today
i'm not really good with the south end, so i'll just go with one place that i know of
not really touristy or northwesty, but kubota gardens in renton is a very fun place to go. it's free and if you're quick, won't take more than an hour, so your 6 yr old won't get too fussy..just don't stay too long.
i'm sure the other ladies can give you better suggestions

i like kubota gardens. remember before i got married and we were gonna do pictures there and you advised against it because that park is in every asian person wedding pics that you know? (atleast that is what you said, lol!)
lol, did i tell you that? it's mostly true. every asian i know who got married in the south-end, or is first gen chinese (regardless where their weddings are) does that.
