Foundation recs

I know we've talked and talked about makeup, but I need some recommendations. I hate the feeling of a lot of layers on my face. Right now I use moisturizer (cerave), Foundation (Mary Kay) and then lose powder (Mary Kay). Somedays I'll just use moisturizer and powder, but I get shiny quick on those days. I'm going to add a primer (prob the antichaffing stuff y'all recd) so I'm thinking about switching to just a powder with good coverage or a creme to powder foundation. Any recommendations? I can go to Dillards makeup counter easily and I will make a trip to sephora if I have to, but the drugstore is awesome too.

I thought I was over it... But then I switched to Neutrogena. I'm switching back to Colorstay.

  • I use Laura Mercier's oil-free foundation and love it but what works for one person may not work for someone else so you really need to try some samples before you buy :).  MAC is supposed to have some great powder foundations that provide good coverage.
