Anyone work in Home Health?

I have worked PRN (per diem) for HH as a physical therapist assistant for years. But am considering going full time. But I have no idea what questions to ask and what kind of pay to look at.

I know this is a long shot to ask anyone on here, but if anyone has any tips/advice that would be great!

Re: Anyone work in Home Health?

  • I'm an OT and I have worked in HH both in CA and in CO (began in 2004 in CA). It's hard to say what you will make - here I am making less than I was in CA 7 years ago, but only by a couple dollars. I'm making about $10-$15 more/hour than I was working in a SNF (or should I say per visit, not per hour)
  • also, everyplace I have worked I have made the same per diem as I would full time - always paid per visit no matter whether FT or per diem.
