I loved this episode!!
And, lol at the bike shop being upside down, literally.
I'm so glad Nancy got rid of her jail lover. She was annoying and quite frankly, crazy.

Re: Weeds 8/22 *spoilers*
I liked this episode too. I was a little disappointed at how quickly everything fizzed out from the last episode but I think the whole rivalry with Pouncy House will spice things up again.
I have to say this season has been much better than the last couple of seasons.
The bike shop was hysterical.
I have to say, though, I'm so over Nancy at this point. They have had so many moments where she seems hurt by something Silas or Shane says to her about her mothering, or about where they are, or how their lives are screwed up because of her - and you think that "Oh, this time she finally heard them", then it's right back to the same old antics.
It just gets under my skin...
And what it is w/ all these men who fall head over heels for her?

And I really want to see where the Pouncy House story goes!

When Andy walked into the upside down bike shop, I was like 'hm, he must be really high".....that was hilarious!
I liked that Michelle Trachtenburg is the boss of Touncy House and I'm excited to see where this will go.
Whats going on with Stevie? They haven't mentioned anything about Nancy trying to get back custody for a few episodes now.

I am so glad to hear this. MH and I were totally obsessed with the first 3 seasons, but we both thought it dropped off after that. We don't have showtime, so I can't watch them until they come out on DVD. Hrmph.
I think Emma (Michelle T.) is kind of like a younger version of Nancy. Runs the business, seduces the enemy and then screws them over. I'm looking forward to the chat between the two of them next week. I hope she stays for a while.
Loved the moment when Andy went after the crazy girlfriend. "We'll call it Kat's Kennel and spell them each with a K!" Hilarious.
I don't understand why Shane didn't try to talk his way out of being arrested. He knows they do shady things, couldn't he use that? Or even say something along the lines of he saw something funny go down and he wanted to learn more about Pouncy House before he reported back to the cop. Like he was trying to work a case and make the guy proud or something.
The past 2 weeks I have really been enjoying this show again! The "Weeds" I love is back, woohoo.
I am interested to see Nancy's conversation with Pouncy House girl. As a PP pointed out, they are so much alike. I love it. I told my husband when she was asking all those questions of Silas at lunch that she was up to something. I didn't expect her to the boss, but I love the twist. I can't help feel sorry for Silas though because he's so hot.
Andy was pretty funny during this episode. Loved his interaction with Zoya, Nancy's prison cell mate. I thought the shop turned upside was a dream or a drug high.
I am pretty tired of Nancy. She has slept her way through the show. Her character has become too selfish for me. She is so concerned about Stevie, yet won't change her ways to get him back. Her other sons are right there, but her interaction with them is only in regards to business. Pretty sad, IMO!
I was surprised that Shane didn't try to blackmail the prof./cop.
I didn't suspect the girl to be the head of Pouncy House - was a great twist. I look forward to more of her in future episodes.
When has she ever been likeable? She's always been a terrible mom, girlfriend, and friend. Maybe she wasn't a sh!tty person before Judah died, but since the start of the series she's been nothing more than a master manipulator and survivor.
Someone said she's slept her way to the top, well, yea. She uses it as a tool to manipulate the men who might have power over her. What else is she suppose to use? Money?
I like her. Actually, when DH and I were watching it, we both said at separate times, "I love her!" If she were a real person, I would have a different opinion but she is a character. It's entertaining.
