Stupid Hurricane question
This will be my first hurricane...I've got a baby shower to go to on Sunday at 2:00pm in Germantown. Is it going to be so bad that they advise us to not even drive?
Re: Stupid Hurricane question
from what I understand flooding is the biggest worry -
my cousin goes to Salisbury University ( just moved in this am for freshman year ) and they have been evacuated until Monday.
I would call the shower host and ask what they plan on doing -- I always would rather be safe than sorry.
Worst case scenario (hopefully): high winds can bring power wires and branches down. Also, driving through high standing water can be dangerous.
I don't think you (or anyone) will really know until that day. Be cautious, but I'd plan to go.
