Plain white dishes...
I have these plain white dishes. I feel that they are so boring and my kitchen is long overdue for a modern overhaul. Are there any types of paint that I could use to paint a design on them that won't wash off in the dishwasher? Or do I need to go buy new fun dishes to spice up my kitchenware?

I probably wouldn't paint them either because of the concern of the paint being toxic or chipping off too.
Like another poster said could you add some colorful napkins and placemats and change them out? Even though you will still have white plates you can change out the napkins and placemats and give things a little color.
I had this plain white much that I decorated. I went to Michael's or some place similar, and I picked up some of those paint pens. They are specifically for porcelain and dishes. Non-toxic and washable. You do your thing and then bake them in the oven and it sets.

7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats. 153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B. A and C are growing on track. A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.
First visit with MFM 12/19 - twins look great and were facing one another! 182 and 185bpm
Visit with MFM 1/9 - NT Scan and Genetic Multiples Pregnancy Counseling
NT scan revealed normal measurements between 1.3mm and 1.5mm on each baby. Both with 161bpm. Blood work from 1st Tri screen came back all normal!
Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!
A/s scheduled for 3/5 - still b/g duo! 150 and 148 bpm
I didn't realize they made those, learned something new. I would do that then but also add some colorful napkins and placemats to go with them too (but I love napkins and placemats).
