Help!
I'm working on 6 collage pages for our church's upcoming photo directory... 8-12 different-sized photos per page.
I know the basic layout per page that I want, but am having trouble with getting the photos all lined up, and the right-sized photos without distorting them. (I'm currently using Microsoft Office Word 2007.)
I don't need the pages to be printed but do need a digital file of them to submit to Olan Mills.
Questions:
1. Is there a better software program I can use to do this (preferably that I can install free?)
2. If I install Photoshop can I make a collage page with it and insert the photos fairly simply?
3. Can you recommend a reasonably-priced pro that would do this? I think my budget is about $50. Again, I know the format I want, I just need someone to align the photos and turn them into a digital file.
Thanks,
Sara
Re: page layout/printer recs?
I hate Word. Photoshop is not a layout program --- and if you've never used it, attempting a layout in it isn't going to be easy. If you're a Microsoft user --- Publisher is going to be your best bet but if you have to buy it, it's going to be more than $50. Or easier yet, pay me $50 and I'll do it for you. Email me at courtneybrewerdesigns@gmail.com

The software is what I use for my album layouts and is super easy. It looks like you can download a trial for free.
