As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Hairdresser payment conundrum...am I compensating fairly?
Short version of the story is that my stylist no longer works at a salon, but sees me in her home. When she worked at the salon, a cut usually cost $35 to $38 (plus a $10 tip) and cut + highlights cost $70-$75 (plus a $20 tip).
I had seen her at her home a long time ago for color and cut...I think I gave her $80 total, but then I worried that it was not enough. She has said that she does not set prices for her clients that come to her...it's up to the client.
So, my conundrum: is $50 ok for a cut and $80 ok for a cut + highlights?
