Dats

I love the love book website you posted.  I was so stumped on what to get K for our anniversary since I majorly bombed with the wedding gift and I wanted to get a 'paper' gift that wouldn't get used & tossed.  I am totally copying your idea!

Re: Dats

  • I don't even know how I found it, but it really looked so perfect! I just have to get DH out of the house one of these days so I can work on it. I couldn't do it on my iPad, and I'm too busy at work to try to focus on it. Maybe if DH goes out to hang out with his brother this weekend I can get a good start on it.

And please, steal away! I think it's an awesome idea, that's why I shared it!

  • Bad part? I'm slow at work right now.  I already put it together.  I'm just playing with the wording on the cover.  I'll be ordering it this afternoon.  Embarrassed

  • At least you can do it at work. I started mine at work yesterday, but then we got really busy, and I am the kind of person that has to focus on the task at hand, and I am an uber-perfectionist. So I want to be able to just shut out the whole world and work on it, but if I lock myself in the office at the computer and don't let DH in there, he will know something is up. So I have to try to get him out of the house. This is the trouble with a 1000 sq ft house and only one computer, and a DH who loves to play video games. And now his only video game is the computer, because our consoles got stolen.

For the most part that's fine though, it's just that there are some things the iPad can't do. And this is one of them. Plus we pretty much do everything together, so if I lock myself away and don't let him come in and hang out with me, he will be very confused, and I'll end up telling him what I'm doing, which will ruin the surprise.
