Father/Husband of the year award...
goes to.... my neighbor guy across the street. I just witnessed him mowing the lawn with their 4 month old in a carrier on his back, the 2 year old following him pushing a toy mower and their 3 and 4 year old playing in the driveway.
Am I the only one that has a husband that can't do anything other than "watch" our child when he's home alone with him? Yet, when I'm home alone with him, I'm cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, doing laundry... and doing my side business. Gah!

Married the love of my life 6/3/06
Became a family of three 8/25/09
Re: Father/Husband of the year award...
He rocks!
I have to aw my DH though... sometimes he impresses me a lot with the amount he can get done with 2 or 3 kids in tow. Sometimes it is more than I can get done with 2 or 3 kids in tow.
Wow, that's impressive! Although I admit I'm more focused on the fact that he has a 4 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old, and 4 month old.
Nope, mine is the same way. "I'm going to run up and shower before you leave for work." What's this showering uninterrupted business? I'm not familiar.
Sounds like a great (and busy!) dad!
Dh is pretty good if I give him suggestions of things to do while I am out. If I forget, well things just don't get done.
This.
I'm struggling with getting stuff done around the house and watching Sawyer. My husband is a champ at being able to let Sawyer play by himself while working.
