Gift idea for cancer patient
I'm hoping y'all can help me. One of my managers was diagnosed with throat cancer and is going through chemo and radiation. We want to send him some sort of gift but I am not sure what to get him! Since he has throat cancer, I'm sure he has dietary restrictions so I'm not sure if restaurant gift cards would be an option.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I was going to suggest an edible arrangement (coupon here), but not sure about the dietary restrictions.
Maybe a basket of magazines/books/snacks (maybe if he has a person that goes with him can eat them, if he can't), book of crossword puzzles/sudoko, things to do during the treatments?
ETA: just read IMFun's post - a nice neck pillow or blanket would be nice. I hear it can get cold.
When my friend started chemo, I gave her some really warm soft socks, a beautiful head scarf (maybe a hat for a guy if you know him well), and ginger snaps (she liked to snack on them because they helped her tummy). I also found a beautiful survivor frame at the Christian Book Store. I put a picture of her in it. She said it helped her get through a lot of hard times.

They sell a mens burts bee's kit. The lotion/Chapstick/ even soap are great.
You could do a fun blanket. Maybe Texans or another favorite sports team
