She has not been herself. Normally she scarfs down her food and has the 'gimme gimme' look in her eyes for a half hour before dinner time. For the last few weeks she has been kind of reluctant to eat her food. Or she will eat her food but leave a third of it in the bowl. This morning I put her food down in front of her and she gave me puppy dog eyes like 'do I have to eat it?'.
It makes me sad. And worried. We haven't changed her food or dinner times or anything like that. I called and made an appointment for 12:45 today at the vet's office. DH is off work today and taking her in. I am hoping it is nothing really serious. Like maybe she ingested some stuffing from one of her toys? Or maybe she has a cold. Or a yeast infection or UTI. (I assume dogs can get those?) She has gotten sick a few times but I noticed grass in there. She does this every once in a while.
Happy doggy thoughts are being requested, por favor.

Well Jade and DH just stopped by my work. Vet said she didn't feel any blockage in her stomach. If she had a blockage or even a partial Jade would be getting sick a lot more than she is. They did pull blood and I should hear tomorrow about the results.
Thanks for all of the well wishes ladies. I am so worried about her!
How long did Ruby's funky mood last? Did the vet say it was normal? Did you guys change her food at all or just add the extra stuff to it?
hope it all works out.
i really wish dogs could talk and tell us what is bothering them.
This- I was watching Flipping Out and he had a pet psychic come in and communicate with all of his animals and it made me want to do that.
I hope Jade is back to her old self again soon!
I hope Jade feels better soon.
Keefer has been acting really weird all week (although not moppy, instead more energetic and crazy). I agree with linzee, I really wish dogs could talk.
