Re: TGIF
I feel like such an a$$hole for living in S. Fla. and seemingly being the only person NOT affected by Irene.
Tonight we're staying in and taking it easy - prob cook something yummy and have some wine. Tomorrow I'm going to the gym bright and early, getting the house cleaned up, and then we are going out to dinner to celebrate the new j-o-b (I finally got an official offer letter so I'm happy!) and for drinks after for a friend's bday.
Sunday if I'm feeling up to it I'll go to the gym, and otherwise just the usual groceries/laundry excitement.
Tonight I am having a cleaning & drinking party with myself while Jeff goes golfing. : )
Tomorrow is a friend's birthday, and we have talked about maybe going to the lake for the day, but we'll see what is happening.
Sunday we are meeting both of my sisters and all their kids at the state fair, then my oldest sister and her two kids are coming back to stay with us Sunday night. Excited to see my mini-me!!!
This weekend is Oktoberfest at a German Restaurant in town. They go all out have bands and vendors and food and loooots of beer. I can't wait!
We are going to go there tonight in case the weather is sucky on Saturday and Sunday. DH has to work tomorrow so I will mostly just hang out during the day.

We have a somewhat busy weekend planned. Tonight will be some cleaning and maybe laundry.
Tomorrow we are bringing our desk to one of my coworkers who bought it and then maybe hitting the Farmer's Market. In the afternoon/evening my BFF and her BF are coming over for "pregame" snacks/dinner before heading out to a baseball game.
Sunday will be the usual church, Sam's club, laundry, cleaning.
Tonight: Watching Packer game
Tomorrow: garage sales, house work, and maybe going out with one of Shaun's ex-coworker
Sunday: church, sewing, and whatever else I can keep myself occupied with.
I'll also be praying like crazy that all of the east coast ladies stay safe!

Let me know how the Jewel Box is. I've never been there but heard good things about it. We also talked about doing a picnic in FP sometime. Sounds like fun to me.
Last night after Mike cleaned the garage,all the outside windows and mowed the lawn, the NDN cmae over and brought a pizza. We ate outside and had a fire, then the neigbors across the street came by for a bit too. Out till about 11 then I came in and made jello shots.
Amanda's birthday party tonight, then tomorrow hoping to have cleaning and chilling done before I have to go over my friend's house to supervise her visit with her kids for her birthday. I'm still blown away by the fact that kids were taken away from their mother who has never laid a hand on them! Dinner over mom's later tomorrow.
