Silly me... I got so caught up with work, I forgot to get this going!
Today: workin' for the weekend, food shopping (ETA: now that I think about it, everyone else will prolly be food shopping as well in prep for the hurricane, so this might be a bad idea...), and probably chillin' in and playing WoW
Saturday: My mom's taking Sam in the morning so that Chris and I can give our front yard a MAJOR overhaul, and then we're visiting with Chris' cousin, her kids, and his aunt at ILs in the afternoon
Sunday: My sister and I were going to play tourist and walk the Freedom Trail in the afternoon, but I fear Irene might have other plans for us. Therefore we might just have a Hurricane Party at our house and brave the storm together.
Monday: Uncertain about the morning, but weather permitting I'm walking with Jill after she gets out of work (right?) and/or we're going to get coffee.
Re: Weekend Plans
Today: got a bunch of blood drawn already, errands with DH, buying new fish for our aquarium, cleaning the house
Sat/Sun: back to work :-/
Monday: My BFF is coming down and promised to treat me to sushi and alcohol.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Today: going to the gym, running a few errands. Then waiting for our new bedroom furniture to be delivered! Probably just hanging out tonight
Tomorrow: farmer's market, getting some stuff done around the house. Scott's going to be gone camping, so I'm making shrimp for dinner and watching girly tv and movies all night.
Sunday: probably working in the garden, working around the house, relaxing.
Today - more fighting with the furniture store, stopping at the grocery store for milk, bread and batteries like the rest of the state. Maybe grabbing dinner somewhere nearby. I don't think we'll end up doing much.
Tomorrow - I have a bunch of errands to run and things I want to get accomplished, Jon is going golfing and to the Red Sox game. We really have no evening plans.
Sunday - HURRICANE OF DOOM. Or, gym, grocery shopping, cleaning, maybe I'll bake.
This is the first weekend in a while that we have absolutely nothing on the schedule, so I want to be productive.
Today: took the day off to have secret rendezvous friday with my bff. I slept 1 hour later than usual this morning and feel like a new woman! I've already run the dishwasher, put away dishes, hand washed big dishes, done two loads of laundry, unpacked some boxes we had delivered, and folded and put away 5 loads of laundry. Gonna eat some breakfast and then I'm off for the day to shop and have lunch with two of my favorite people. Tonight, I'm meeting up with my cousin to go over stuff for her wedding.
Saturday: We have a wedding to go to and I'm still trying to get an appointment to use my groupon for a mani/pedi in the morning.
Sunday: resting, chores making falafel and homemade pita chips and hummus for dinner.
Today: work until 5, pick up the car from the shop, go into Fayetteville to eat and shop for new clothes for Guy.
Tomorrow: Clean our nastiness of a house!
Sunday: Chill.
Today: More packing (moving in 8 days) maybe a run to Michaels for school stuff
Tomorrow: Meeting at my new job, then probably more packing
Sunday: Working on big final project for school, and probably more packing.
Monday: Start my new job!!
Not sure if I missed this, tell me about the new job!
We were going to go to the Cape this weekend, but we changed plans because the weather was so iffy...but, I'm looking forward to a weekend at HOME, Irene or not.
Friday: work till 4, then Zumba and grocery shopping (it is going to be a zoo...but luckily I don't think we need too much)
Saturday: Zumba in the AM, getting my car inspected, then maybe going to see one of my good friends, her and her bf just bought a house and closed this past week, I'm dying to see it in person! Then hunkering down for Irene...thinking about baking some cookies and trying out the buffalo chicken lasagna recipe.
Sunday: The wrath of Irene. lots of laziness around the house with H: movies, snacks, some adult beverages, and Wii....unless the power goes out, then maybe puzzles and card games.
Today: It's Jon's birthday so we are going out to lunch and shopping before he goes to work.
Tomorrow: Getting a new washer and dryer finally
Sunday: Finishing up our vacation to do list/ packing list and freaking out since it's 2 short weeks away
Boy, you know you are getting older when getting new appliances gets you excited! lol
New restaurant opening in Chicago (River North) called Farmhouse. It's a craft tavern, I guess, and the menu is seasonal and primarily local. Almost everything is made from scratch, even the sodas will be! We're gonna have 28 Midwestern craft beers, and 4 Midwestern wines, on tap. It sounds pretty cool.
That sounds great! Good luck.
ETA: weird double post removed
Today: Work then relaxing at home with J & the doggies
Tomorrow: Battening down the hatches. We have to make sure everything is either taken inside or tied down.
Sunday: Most likely a lazy redbox day....if we are allowed to stay at our place. We live 2 blocks from the ocean and the town left messages on everyone's machines saying we all may be evacuated. Great. J thinks that since my ER (and thus Gabby was conceived) in a really bad blizzard that it means there's a chance she will be born during the hurricane. I sure hope not! I mean, I know I'm at the point where they won't stop it if I go into labor but I hope she stays put for at least a few more weeks.

Danny is going with my parent to the Steelers/Falcons game tomorrow. I will be doing laundry and cleaning the house.
Sunday is Buddy's class and then probably more cleaning before I have to go back to work on Monday.
