hurricane re: WTF ILs?
FIL just called to "check" on us. Um, OK. I talk to him a bit and he mentions how they have to "batten down the hatches." They have a house on the water and a small boat and a fair amount of outside "stuff." My MIL is out there full time in the summer and could get a lot of this done herself and w/ help from their neighbors, then take a train back into their other house, which is far less likely to sustain any damage.
Where do you think they are going to ride out the storm?
Oh the house on the water w/ giant plate glass windows on 2 sides of the main room. Brilliant!
