Mt. Ranier Suggestions?

My H really wants to head to Mt. Ranier either this weekend (late notice, I know) or next weekend for his birthday. Suggestions for places to stay/eat/do?

    Hiking is my primary reason to go to Mt. Rainier.  There's a place about 15 miles before the park entrance (Nisqually) where you can park your car and take a shuttle into the park.  I highly recommend it.  The parking at the top is often full, and the shuttle stops at all the key spots, so you can get off and on wherever you'd like.  I think it runs every 15-20 minutes, but i don't recall for sure.  It was free when i rode it last and i think it still is.  I'm not sure whether shuttles are available at the other entrances.

    You also have to drive through Eatonville to get to Mt. Rainier. There are some quaint little antique shops and stuff in town (most of it is pretty boring, though, haha) if you want to stop there.
