My baby is ONE!!
One year ago today I got out of bed and thought I peed myself lol but after a few changes I realized that my water had broke! I got admitted around 2:00pm, labored for a few hours and then asked for the epidural. Around 7:30 I was checked and was 10cm, I pushed for 20 minutes and as he was coming out my Dr. told me to reach down and I pulled him up to my chest, he was born at 7:59pm. It was an amazing experience. I will never forget how warm he was when they placed him on me and how heavy he felt (he did weigh 2 lbs more than Grace did!!). He looked right at me then his little lip turned under and he let out a big cry ? All those fears I had had about loving another child as much as my first disappeared. I was head over heels in love from the second I saw him and have been ever since.
He is such a sweet, smart boy. Though he is more high maintenance than Grace was 
I know everyone says this but it does not seem possible that an entire year has gone by since he was born....time is flying. I was watching the slide show of his birth photos and just started crying, I feel so blessed to have this little boy ?
Oh and I don't think I ever shared his birth slide show here, so if any one wants to see it just PM on facebook or send me your email and I will send the link...don't worry it is not graphic

Well, congratulations, you made me cry. Thanks for sharing your great story! How very cool that you got to "pull him out". It amazingly makes me want to do the whole labor/birth thing all over again.
If it makes you feel any better, I think all second children are high maintenance -- it's their way to avoid being eclipsed by baby #1.
