In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job update (long sorry)
So today I went to HR of the district I was hired in to sign my contract. True or False, my contract wasn't ready.... We're expected to report Tuesday. Are you kidding me!? I was not polite about it mostly because interns, and people who were placed and not hired have contracts, but I don't. I asked the HR lady how it's possible that someone who was offered a position in MAY doesn't have a contract but an unlicensed intern does? Also I asked how they intend to correct this as when you sign your contract determines your seniority, and can determine whether or not I get laid off before someone else. Needless to say I am pissed off. They then told me I could start without a contract because I have a position. I looked at the lady with the are you kidding me? look and told her that's unacceptable. They told me to come back Monday afternoon and it should be ready. I left after telling them that this is an absolutely ridiculous situation.
I called the principal of the school I interviewed at last Thursday, and was told they haven't made a decision yet because they just finished interviews today, but will be calling people Monday with a decision. I told him I had until Monday afternoon to make a decision on my other offer, so if he could let me know as soon as possible that would be great.
I also got an offer for an interview at another district which is Monday at 3:30pm.
I'm tempted to write the superintendent of my district an email about how obnoxious this situation is, as we were at a conference this week that was all about being ready to teach, and getting off to a good start have things ready to go etc.... but my contract isn't ready. This is why the district can't keep good teachers, because they pull *** like this. If you got this far you get a cookie.
