Please check in when you can this weekend and let us know how you are surviving the hurricane. I'll be thinking good thoughts for all of you.
Re: Eastcoast ladies
Thanks Paige and Amy!
We're supposed to start getting rain late tomorrow - Right now Sunday evening/night looks to be the worst of it I think. We've stocked up on food and water (we're anticipating losing power) and I'm just hoping it ends up being less severe than they're saying!
I do think it will be less severe than they anticipate. My SIL has called a couple times reminding us to stock up on PB and bread, get gas in the car, etc. I feel like everyone is freaked out and it won't end up being bad unless you are by the coast. Then again, after Hurricane Hannah coming through on my wedding day, I don't care about hurricanes anymore
That being said, my brother goes to school on the east coast of Maryland and they cancelled freshman orientation and move in weekend and told everyone to go home. Classes are already cancelled Monday (scheduled 1st day), move in is expected for Tuesday, and then classes will start on Wednesday. Better safe that sorry I think!
