Thankful Thursday
I need to be thankful after reading some sad posts and I have had a few rough days too.
I am thankful for:
my health, my DH for cooking dinner many nights lately, my mom who I can laugh with and talk with, my nephew who is so adorable, good friends who I laughed with after work today, and my job!! I am lucky to have a job even if it brings me a lot of stress! I am also thankful for my inlaws who were in town one night this week. I lucked out and am blessed in the FIL And MIL department and I am grateful for that. My MIL told me she wished I lived closer! (They live about 5 hours away.)

I am thankful that
1. long band camp days (i.e. I'm up 6am - 10pm or later) are over! Tomorrow we have a shortened practice schedule b/c of freshmen orientation @ the hs, and I can't wait to sleep in!
2. I have 7 weeks until my due date - I can't wait to meet this little baby!
3. that DH gave up his evenings at home to come help me out at band camp so I didn't have to be running all over the field
4. that the earthquake & aftershocks did no damage to our apartment or selves (other than put a good scare into our day)
5. that I was told by a band parent the other night that I "make pregnancy look easy". Apparently she doesn't think most women who are 8 mos pregnant would be up to chasing 30 teenage girls around at band camp for a week.
I am thankful our bedroom is finally painted!! Woo hoo!! The insurance covered the cost of a painter! I did the prep work though. We moved the furniture back in last night, and I made the bed & put the blinds & curtains back up this morning!

Now I just need to figure out if I want roman shades or cellular blinds in place of the current mini-blinds. I think I am leaning towards the cellular top down/bottom up ones... b/c the roman shades would be 2x as much!
And now to decorate!!
