Awful. Our friends came over for dinner tonight and their daughter is in love with our dog. He cries if we pin him up and he can hear or see us so we just let him roam the house while they are here. Anyways Miss C was leaning out of her chair looking for Simon and hit her head. Our floor is tile in our dinning room. The minute I heard her hit I knew she had a goose egg on her head. N said she was fine just more embarrassed then anything and not to worry about it and that she didn't need the ice I kept offering to get. By the time they left it was purple. I feel so so bad.
Thanks for listening to me.

Re: I'm an awful Friend
Just breathe!!
If their little Miss had not hit her head looking for the dog, it would have happened with something else! Kids get into mischief all the time which is probably why your friend wasn't too worried about the ice! There are pictures of me as a toddler with 2 black eye's from walking into the coffee table and falling on the hearth and my mom had to take me with her to a baby shower like that LOL
I'm sure your friend is not upset at all! If anything, their little Miss C is probably just wondering if she can play with the dog again soon
That definitely does NOT make you a bad friend :-)
I know it sucks and you feel responsible but it isn't your fault, it isn't your dog's fault, it isn't the girl's fault... it's just life!
