As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Jamaican me crazy!
**update from my post last night**
The bride & groom have moved the destination wedding to Negril Jamaica. Same dates, just different location. Everything has been exactly transported to the Beaches resort in Negril. The b*tch of the situation now is our flight there. We had booked American Airlines initially because it had a direct flight to Turks, well they don't have the same for Montego Bay and the lay overs are horrendous....we're most likely going to loose 2 days of our vacation just travelling now

We waited over an hour on hold tonight and still didn't get to talk to anyone at the airline, so we're going to try again tomorrow. I'm still holding out hope that they're going to tell me about some super secret direct flight we can get seats on that is not showing up online.

P.S. - check your room rates because Jamaica should be cheaper then T&C and you may get some money back.
and I looove Jamaica, the Jamaican people are friggin' AWESOME and we found way friendly then T&C! They were teaching us 'Jamaican booty dances' at my reception. It's still going to be a blast!! Have fun!

Thanks ladies and thanks for the tip Char. I have to call Beaches to give them our revised flight info so I'll definitely ask about rate change. While we're disappointed it's not Turks, it will be great. It's still a vacation away together so doesn't really matter to me where we go. As long as I have a beach & a cocktail I'm good
We decided to forget AA and bought new tickets today on Jet Blue that are direct and at travel times close to what we had. But I may have found a loophole to get our $ back from American Airlines. I won't know for sure though until Monday - they are so innundated with calls for changes to this weekends that they asked us to call back on Monday. If they won't give $ back I'm going to fight them to get a credit to use next year for another trip.
