One of our cats was acting really strangely. Begging for tons of attention, hiding in the litterbox and hanging out in the tub all the time. I was concerned she might have a UTI or something, so I brought her into the vet.
I have now paid $200 to have my cat diagnosed with stress... Sigh.
They gave me medication that eases anxiety in animals, some people use it for traveling with pets. Since we are moving and will be staying with my parents for a few weeks (they have three dogs and three cats), I figured her stress levels aren't going to go down anytime soon.
Gave her the first dose today and she is wobbling all over the place. But she seems to relaxed and enjoying herself! I think maybe next time I'll give her a smaller pill piece. In the meantime she seems determined to try to jump on and off high things and so on, so I'm trying to pack and follow her around the apartment. Oh, and the most animation I've seen out of her so far was when she made a valiant effort to steal some of my mac and cheese.

Haha, DH just left the door open cause we were putting some furniture in the car. She tried to escape, got really confused because it was raining, then wobbled around doing her best to evade us, but was ultimately unsuccessful.
She seems to have regained most of her motor skills.
