This is going to suck ( cooking related )
Okay. So on the task list for today is making:
whole wheat tortillas, homemade pizza pockets, mac'n cheese with veggies, veggie shephard's pie, zucchini pasta bake and cheese crackers.
This is going to be a freaking gong show.

Wow! For one who doesn't like cooking I think you should really try your hand at just one thing. Good luck.
O love to cook and all that sounds very daunting!

The cook in me is going "ooooh, what fun!"
The mom in me is going "how do I keep the kid entertained?"
Is DH going to entertain the girls while you have fun in the kitchen? And if you need a professional taster I'm more than willing to accept some cheese crackers.
It didn't suck!!!
I made whole wheat macaroni and cheese (the cheese sauce from scratch) with carrots and sweetcorn - we had it with sesame seeds and sliced peaches on the side. Perfect!
Then we made tortillas - we are never, ever, ever buying tortillas from a store again. Ever. They were fantastic.
Were they perfectly circular? Not really. Were they all reasonably the same size? God no. But they were freaking awesome. The twins are noming homemade tortilla wraps with shredded carrots, organic shredded cheese and hummus right now and they are loving them. And I'm feeling like freaking mother of the year! Ha!
Tomorrow it's pizza pockets and salad. Yummers!
