Well, I have an appt scheduled for tomorrow but they need my medical records and it's apparently not as easy as they has suggested. When I called CWC, they said it takes about 10 days-2 weeks to transfer the record. Ok...So i call WHA back to cancel my appt for tomorrow. First, I picked the line for scheduling appts. and kept getting the fax machine. Then I tried hitting "0" to get someone and it says "goodbye." THEN I tried the prescription line and it doesn't take you to an actual person. I tried the original appt line again and heard someone pick up, a women's voice very briefly, and it hung up! I tried 2-3 more times and it sounds like the person was actually picking up and hanging the phone back up in the cradle. THEN, as a last resort, I called and tried the "if you have an urgent problem and want to speak to the nurse" line and got a message saying that my call couldn't be transferred and that I should try again later!!
Seriously? I've about had it w/ this place. If they're going to be unprofessional enough to hang up on people calling in (by this point it was 3:45 on a friday) AND I have to worry about being in labor or having some other major problem and not being able to get through to the nurse. Forget it. Guess I'll try Dr. Hunter next.
Re: F/U re: women's health associates/Vent
Ugh- that is lame and annoying.
I find it surprising that they wouldn't do an initial visit w/o your records.
