? about borax (XP from C&O)
i'm wondering how to best to use borax in my FL washer. when i use oxiclean, i just put it in the drum before loading the clothes (since that's what the package says to do).
i've tried adding the borax to the detergent slot, but it just gets clogged up. i've also tried dissolving the borax in water and adding that to the liquid detergent, but i don't know how much of it to use to make the solution (nor how much of the solution i should then be adding!)
any suggestions?

very interesting! i always thing of the 80s calgon commercials and didn't realize they make tabs for the washer.
...but i still have this box of borax sitting here, and it's gonna get used one way or another! (we already add it to our dishwasher.)
