  LOL, I crocheted last year during our like 10 power outages. When I know the power will go out, I always make sure the laptop or the portable dvd player is fully charged. Because if there is no power and no movies.......H isn't going to leave me alone to crochet for very long. LOL

  I would gladly take some of the rain y'all are being drenched with. We haven't had any measurable rain since July 4th and are only a couple of weeks away from serious water restrictions. Our back yard is mostly dirt now.

  We haven't had power since 10:30 and not quite light enough to do stuff without a headache. My current entertainment is watching the tree sway closer and closer to toppling on the power lines. We had one land a few feet from our living room windows. Glad it wasn't a little to the right or I wouldn't be sitting on the couch right now.

  East Bridgewater. We only have one window we can sit near with good light (my eyes aren't the best for detail work in dim light). There has been crews going up and down the road, even bulldozers (wonder where they are going?) but still no power. Something blew when it happened because there was a loud boom. At least the tree near the lines in front hasn't fallen. It wasn't that bad just saturated ground and a tree with lots of leaves.

  Our family is in Rehoboth (out near Gretchenh), and they are w/o power still. I've had power since noon out here in Metro West.

  I was hoping a bit for an outage too. thought I would be able do do some cards or something.

  It's still out. I'm in Canton fr work and coworkers in Canton, Avon, Plymouth, and Franklin are out since yesterday. On our street it is just our condo complex and the houses across the street out. Oh well. Will be emptying the fridge tonight and going to the Y for showers.

  We still don't have power and current estimate is tomorrow night. Not a huge deal but definitely not fun anymore and getting expensive with food loss and eating out more.
