Just got back from the hospital. I was having some light bleeding and cramping and I called the doctor and he said to go to the hospital just to get checked out. So we went. They put me on the fetal monitor for maybe half an hour and said everything looks fine, I'm not having contractions and my water hasn't broken or anything like that. Whew! So we are home now and I'm supposed to just drink plenty of water and relax. I feel kind of dumb that I went in for what turned out to be nothing, but better safe than sorry.

I hope your night and ultrasound go well!
So glad it was nothing! But it is definitely better to be safe than sorry and go in even if it's nothing.
I had a similar experience last week. I started having braxton hicks contractions 3 minutes apart after we were at the Alhambra so we went to a hospital in Granada. It turns out they were brought on by not staying well hydrated, but I also had to be hooked up to a contraction monitor for over an hour. I was lucky though because I drank a huge water bottle on the way to the hospital so all they did was give me a few more glasses of water -- the woman next to me had to be hooked up to an IV to replenish fluids.
Moral of the story is, drink tons of water and stay well hydrated! Glad neither of us ended up with pre-term labor.
ETA: Just saw the update. I'm sendind huge vibes!!!
