I was going through old stuff to clean the house for our move.  We still have their Christmas card with their wedding pic.  Can't believe she's been gone this long.

Sigh

I'm glad you have your siggie......I can't think of a better cause.

Hugs.  Hope you are doing well.  Glad to see you around every now and then.

  • Thank you so much - I needed that.  It's been very frustrating lately with the pace of "progress," and any words of encouragement are very motivating.  We're working pretty closely with a group of doctors in creating a research consortium.  We're hoping that the shared patient base will begin to streamline and accelerate research.

Those surprise findings can be bittersweet.  Hopefully more sweet in the happy memories!  Hugs right back to you.  I always try and flip back to the memories from high school and our early 20's - we were ridiculous back then and I always laugh so hard at the memories.  There are days where I can so clearly hear her sarcastic voice in my head...I miss it.

Good luck with your move!  Are you guys staying in the state?

  • Let me know what DH and I can do to help.  Obviously I don't deal with either cancer or the hepatobiliary system in my field....but hey.....I can always find some way to help!  Her legacy is in her loved ones.  We could all hope to be so lucky to have that when our time comes.  Keep up the good fight.  That's how change is made.

We're just moving to a new part of town for my new job.  :)
