.... and moving cross country with little ones in 4 weeks. God help me :-)
We looked all over the east side and kept coming back to the Trossachs area. It just felt like home and there were kids everywhere which is amazing. It's pretty far out there (am I still allowed to post on the Seattle board?
)
Everyone we met was very friendly and we are excited about coming out that way to raise our family. It's going to be very painful to leave parents and family/friends and say our goodbyes but am anxious to just move already and get to know the area.
I also have 4 weeks to learn how to say Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Trossachs.. lol
Oh, and if anyone on the east side has recommendations of doctors, dentists, hair dressers, etc I'll gladly take them. Cheers!
Re: we bought a house
congrats and yes, you're welcome to post here!
good luck with the drive and the new place.:)
Hey, Sammamish is easy enough to say once you do it for a while.
That's where I live - it's great over here!
Evergreen is great for docs on the Eastside (I may be biased, though - I work for them), I love my dentist (Corrine Crowley in Factoria), and I love Salon 074 in Sammamish for my hairdressing needs.
If you need anything else, let me know!

Thanks guys and thanks for the recommendations. I'm sure I will have lots of questions and need lots of recommendations for things so hope you'll put up with me.
