Anniversary Dinner a sucess!
First off, thank you all for your recommendations. Erika and Susie, get extra thanks 
We headed to Portland with a reservation for Peaks Island and for Paciarinio. Because of the weather we wanted a safe bet. We missed the ferry and decided to stay mainland. So, we hit the Blue Ginko for cocktails. Holy stuff drinks batman. We then went to dinner and that was some of the best pasta I've ever had. Oh my goodness it was delicious. I actually wanted more rather than ordering dessert. We ordered desert and then walked down the street and got some gelato too, hehe.
Caroline stayed the night at the IL's. She will NOT take a nap there, but somehow slept through the night there so that's great. Me, on the hand, did not. I was up for four hours. This momma is not used to more than one drink anymore and combined with rich food I was hurting LOL.
Best part, is DH missed eating fresh pasta (I've neglected him since I've been dieting) so he's been making pasta today!

Peaks is definitely worth a trip - we love it over there and it's such a quick ferry ride.
This review makes me wish (again!) that I had purchased that Groupon for Paciarino a few months back...

I definitely want to go to Peaks Island, I love quick little "get aways" like that where you go away for the afternoon or evening and feel far removed from home
