Re: happy monday!!

  • Yes. Had a barbecue Saturday and then got a group of 12 together for dinner last night, which was super fun.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • YES! DH and I went on a zipline at Mt. Hermon, it was so much fun! I highly recommend this. Its $80 per person but we got a groupon for $40 per person. I think $80 is a bit steep but I think its worth it for a couple hours of fun and something you probably wouldn't do again or too often.

Here is the site if anyone is interested. I also posted pics on my facebook page.

  • Happy Monday!

I saw "The Help" this weekend... so good! I thought it definitely did the book justice. And H and I went to the Cal Academy of Sciences, which was pretty fun too.

  • Had a deep tissue massage on Saturday and it was divine. I did notice a bruise near my shoulder blade though because my muscles (or lack of) were so tight. Other than that I was a homebody.

  • We drove out to SF on Friday afternoon/evening and had a lovely dinner with some friends from out of town.  (Yes, traffic was horrific, but we were glad to have the car downtown and we only spent $2 on parking, plus the $11 in bridge tolls, so not too bad)

Saturday we slept in and then just spent the day wandering around, doing some window shopping, etc.

Yesterday we did church and then I had an OWS group meetup at Folsom.  So we were busy, but it was SO relaxin.

  • We took a quick trip to LA, although in reality we went everywhere except LA. Haha. Glad to be back though.
  • We had a great time and great food at a friend's BBQ. DH and I also went to the movie theater which was fun.
  • Saturday we did some more organizing/unpacking.

Yesterday we had our 1st (of many!) housewarming parties! It was a great day to have it!

LOL, I knew you were avoiding me! Surprise I didn't do anything particularly fun. I did some writing and tried to get some curriculum together in case I get this job teaching a course I've never taught.
