RE: New Mums (Snoop come in! :o)

I missed the post easlier but I just wanted to say all you ladies are doing fabulous with your adorable babies. I had a lot of the same issues as most of you, baby blues, baby sleep issues and lack of sleep for me (we are still majorly battling this one, at 14 months she still wakes up every 2-3 hours :o/  Turns out you get use to walking around like a zombie for a year. :o/ ). Things do get easier though.

Snoopy- I felt the same exact way after the c-section. If you ever want to talk please feel free to email me or message me on fb!

  • Thanks Jess. I think all those things sort of come with the territory for most of us, although for reasons I don't understand it's like we're not supposed to talk about it. It is hard but it gets easier and I'm already learning that. Plus waking up to my smiling girl always makes it a little easier, even at 3 am. I hope you start getting some sleep soon.

  • Thanks Jess. I don't know if it was the c-section or everything else. I've also been told that I really shouldn't have kids again, not that I couldn't, but it'd be a bad idea. I think it makes it worse to think about that, too. It was just a mess and totally not what I had in mind. My body is still feeling the effects, and sometimes when I'm not feeling well, I sort of resent the whole thing. It sounds awful when I think about how I feel, so I just don't talk about it much.

  • Im so sorry to hear that Crystal, I know that has to be tough ontop of everything else. They told my SIL the same and she also takes it hard. It breaks my heart. I know its not the same situation and I totally understand if you dont want to talk about it but Im still here for you if you changer you mind. I hope things get better for you. *hugs*

And I agree with you Haydee, I think a lot of it is a battle almost every mother goes through inome degree. I know Im not on the board much and lost touch with a lot of you ladies but I do care and I hope everything gets easier for everyone.

  • thanks Jess. I'll hunt you down if I need an ear to vent to. So far DH has been great. Hope you're not floating away in NJ.
