Have a great vacation!!!
Visiting with my mom today and tomorrow, work Weds evening, playdate with Ritzy on Friday and work Saturday. Pretty low-key week

No, unfortunately I don't. We are going for my brothers wedding. He is getting married in Kennebunkport. His fiancee spent a lot of summer vacations there with family and it holds a special place in her heart. They considered a lot of options for the wedding, but since it looked like everyone was going to have to travel, no matter where they got married, they decided to make it someplace special.
It should be a great trip!

Have fun on vacations & camping!
M-W: Meal planning, grocery shopping, putting away shower gifts, writing thank-you notes.
Th: Tigers game during the day (day off, woo hoo!) then birthing class at night.
F: Doc appt in the morning. Maybe heading up to a friend's family cabin for the long weekend (we're not sure if we were officially invited or not, so we're just kind of waiting to see if he brings it up again).
S: If we don't go up north, probably out to BWW or something to watch the first UM game of the season w/ a few friends.

jennic - how was your shower!! Exciting!
I'm working all week, we're going to pick up our crib and dresser that FINALLY came in, maybe shop for a new car for me - assuming I'm not terribly upsidedown in my current car, and we're having my Dad and step-mom over for dinner one night. Oh...and UM/WMU on Saturday...cannot wait!!
The shower was great! My sister did such a wonderful job on it. It wasn't huge (about 20 people total - which was a great size, I thought), but a lot of people that couldn't make it sent presents anyway, so we got a lot of amazing stuff. Not too much left to buy and just a few things that we'll need to return.
My nieces (who are 1, 5, and 6, so really my sister) got me this gigantic stuffed bear - 53" tall. I have no idea where we're going to put it in our tiny nursery, but I love it.
Do you know what you'd like to get?
Finish "thank yous" from Mom's funeral. There were many, many kind messages. I ran out of note cards! So off to buy more note cards.
Clean the fridge, make peach jam, freeze green beans and tomato sauce.
Decide what to do for our anniversary. It's 9-7, so some years it gets mixed up with Labor Day, ugh! I mean, Labor Day is fine, but I was trying to avoid tying our day to a public holiday.
I'm really excited!!
Working M-Thursday
Off Friday and Monday heading to the MSU Game!!
Working Monday-Thursday. I hope to go to David's Bridal at some point to try on a few bridesmaid dresses for a friend's wedding.
Then it's the first MSU football game of the season on Friday
DH and I are very excited!
